Shellac Manicure/Pedicure

Treatment

Keep your nails looking perfect with a CND Shellac manicure or pedicure. Paints on like polish but wears like a gel, lasting up to 2 weeks on fingers and much longer on toes. Cured under LED light so dries immediately meaning no more smudged, chipped nails.

I only use CND products for my nail treatments which include thorough preparation and cuticle work.

Benefits of a CND Shellac Treatment

  • Long lasting
  • Mirror finish making it look fresh throughout wear
  • Tough and resilient to resist those chips and smudges
  • Removes easily in eight minutes with no soaking
  • No drills, no buffing, no damage to the natural nail

I retail various sizes of solar oil to help keep your nails in excellent condition.

Please note – I only work with CND Shellac and CND Vinylux systems so I can not remove other nail technicians gels, acrylics etc.

Aftercare

Shellac is long lasting but aftercare needs to be followed to ensure nails remain chip free for as long as possible. This includes;

  • Daily application of solar oil to the cuticle and nail area
  • General care of nails such as wearing gloves to wash up, garden and clean.
  • Correct removal – it should not be picked or peeled off.
  • Nails should not be used as tools tools e.g. picking at or prising things open
  • Some chemicals can affect shellac particularly those containing ‘deet’ which is often found in sunscreens and fly repellents.

Shellac is not suitable for all nail types. If your nails are peeling, flaky or split shellac will not strengthen them but could peel or flake as the nail does.

Afraid I've got a problem with my phones at the moment. The technical department (yes, my poor suffering husband) is sorting it out.

In the meantime the best way to get in touch is pigeon post or you can email me at info@holisticandbeautytreatments.co.uk

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend xx

Lots of planning for my business over the weekend. I'm excited to book the first of my CPD for 2019...I'll be studying Maternity Reflexology with Sally Earlam in Newport Pagnall.

Also looking for a new Hot Stone Massage course to refresh my skills and can't wait for the Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage in December this year.

Hope you've all had a relaxing weekend xx

If I was blown away by yesterday's course then today's was completely off the scale! Hot Stone Reflexology is now my favourite treatment.

The bonus of training is that not only do I get to learn fab new things but I get to be a guinea pig too! 3 Hot Stone Reflexology treatments later and I have never felt so relaxed or quite so sleepy 💤💤💤

Completely blown away by some of the new techniques I've learnt on the Mindful Reflexology CPD course today. It's about supporting those who live with stress, anxiety and depression.

So, if you're booked in for reflexology you can look forward to some gorgeously relaxing techniques and if you're a reflexologist then take at look Sally Earlam Reflexology and her courses.

Tomorrow will all be about hot stone reflexology. Can't wait!

Hope you're having a great weekend whatever you're doing x
